I’ve had this book for a while and I still constantly reference it. I’ve been working with Flex since 2005 and I usually only get a few good tidbits out of a book like this but the Flex 4 Cookbook has been quite the opposite for me. It’s chalked with great examples and techniques. Even if you’re a Flex guru, pick this book up. It definitely has plenty of gems in it.

Used book not in the best condition. It’s big – 735 pages. Tries to cover a lot but doesn’t really go deep enough into how the code works. More a “try this code” thing. Most “problems” are design-oriented. I haven’t found a solution to my problems in it, but I’m sure I ultimately will.
